The Blacklist season 7 episode 2 review

The second episode of The Blacklist season 7 has just aired on NBC in the United States. The episode was titled Louis T. Steinhill (2 episode), continuing the story from the first episode. Raymond Reddington is the prisoner of Katarina Rostova and Louis T. Steinhill has created a fake environment to be used in order to draw information from Raymond.

As we understand throughout the second episode, Katarina wants to find out who is coming after her and what they know. For a long time, she was able to live undercover, but after Elizabeth and Ressler started to dig into her, thus drawing attention to her name among lots of other people as well, she is starting to fear for her life, and now she wants to find out what people actually know about her.

The nurse who treated Raymond in the first episode, and helped him escape, is having a central role also in the second episode. Not because she is always helping him, but because she has been a part of an even smarter plan drawn by Louis T. Steinhill. She is helping Raymond escape once again, and now they have to warn Dom that Katarina is coming for him. But, when her consciousness gets weak (or is that strong), she confesses to Raymond that it has all been setup up to lead Katarina to Dom. And guess what, they are coming to lay their hands on him in a few minutes.

Dom is hurt in a gunfight, but luckily, the nurse is also helping them now. At the same time. Aram discovers the movements of Katarina (but, they do not know that it is Katarina) on a laptop, and comes to rescue Dom, Raymond, Dembe and the nurse from an attack of Katarina and her helpers.

They all thought that Louis Steinhill was caught and then killed himself, but suddenly he is gone, and it looks like he setup his own death, only to escape later. Is this entire thing still a part of the setup? In the end, Elizabeth is leaving her flat together with Agnes. Guess who their new neighbor is? Katarina Rostova...

The Blacklist season 7 episode 2

I had a great time watching the episode. There are a lot of cliches in the story, especially when Katarina moves in as the new neighbor of Liz and Agnes. But, it is also an interesting story considering the role of Louis T. Steinhill, and how it is hard to know whether or not this is still a part of his masterplan and story, or if the nurse actually made that stop.

Also, was this the end of the story about Louis T. Steinhill? I doubt it, after all, he is still alive and doing well. I have a feeling we might meet him again sometime during the seventh season of The Blacklist.

Where to watch The Blacklist season 7 episode 2 online?

There are several ways to watch the brand new episodes the Blacklist online. You can stream the episode at the NBC website, following the same method as described in this video about watching Mr. Robot season 4 online. Or you can watch the seventh season of The Blacklist on Netflix. It cannot be found in many Netflix regions yet, but you can find it in some at least!

These are, by far, the best ways to stream The Blacklist online. I am already looking forward to the upcoming episode.

The third episode is titled Les Fleurs Du Mal. Based on the very short promo, we can know for sure that Katarina Rostova will get closer to Agnes, and maybe even take her captive? I guess we are in for even more cliches in this part of the story. But, for how long will the story move on before Elizabeth actually discovers the reality and true identity of her new neighbor?
